The public register provides details of a physiotherapist’s license issued in accordance with Alberta’s Physical Therapy Profession Act, and conduct findings on record.
Physiotherapists require authorization to use dry needles (acupuncture or intramuscular stimulation) and spinal manipulation in practice. Physiotherapists learning one of these activities may perform the activity once they are placed on the provisional register. Other activities listed in this section do not require authorization.
The register includes information for practicing physiotherapists from 2006 onward. Contact the Registration Department at 780.438.0338 for information prior to 2006 or if the physiotherapist you are looking for is not listed in the register.
